UROK Foundation Launched at The Highlight Room Dream Hollywood Hotel to Raise Awareness for Mental Health

Recently, in the cozy and swanky rooftop lounge The Highlight Room Dream Hollywood hotel, Marvin Scott Jarrett the founder of the UROK Foundation hosted a Charity Benefit and Art Auction centered on the benefit of Mental Health.

Packed with the who’s who of Young Hollywood and coupled with performances by recording artist Maty Noyes and Gabe Roland, as well as sounds by DJ Tiana Verhagen, the event packed the lounge with supporters for the cause. Maty Noyes performed 3 of her hit singles including her crowd favorite with 48 million views on YouTube “Stay ft. Kygo”  “Say it to My Face”, and “In My Mind” while being joined by Grammy Nominated Gabe Roland  who set the tone for the evening with his rhythmic performance of “City Angel” that had the crowd dancing and singing along.

DJ Tiana kept the hits playing and the attendees on their feet while bidding on art by Gary Baseman, Mike Patterson and Pasco the Great who auctioned off over 14 pieces to event goers which proceeds went to the foundation. Magnolia Bakery Cupcakes were enjoyed by the Hollywood elite including: Justin Prentice “Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why”, “Typical Psycho” Singer Katie Welch, Supermodel David Bywater, Lexi Atkins, Shoshana Bush, Blain, “Lovely Bones” Andrew James Allen, “So You Think You Can Dance” Jason Williams, Rachel McCord, Social Media Star Hailey Lautenbach amongst many others as well as Whispering Angel Rosé and Viva32 offering signature curated drinks for the evening.

Some of the Honorary Committee members of the UROK foundation showed up to support their cause which included: Founder & President of Popular TV and Co-founder of Nylon Magazine Jaclynn Jarrett, Marvin Scott Jarrett, Scott Lipps, John and Lola Debney, Mike Patterson, Siri Garber, Kelly Cutrone, Phoenix Stone, Angela Lindvall, and Justin Prentice of Netflix’s hit show “13 Reasons Why.”
