Asty Hotel & Spa Mykonos review – Elegant Refinement at an exceptional location!

Location is key, in all aspects of life. This is a crucial advantage for Asty Hotel & Spa in Mykonos. Right at the outskirts of the town, on the road that connects the most beautiful beaches and right next to the airport, is where you can find this wonderful hotel.

Asty, a five-star modern-chic hotel in the heart of Mykonos, is a quiet and visually attractive retreat. Striking black elements contrast with the tranquil natural backdrop and blend with the traditional Cycladic façade. The ostentatiously beautiful interior spaces were influenced by Aegean culture and history, fusing luxury and bohemian aspects. The name Asty (ἄστυ) comes from ancient Greece and refers to the city’s main square. It was selected to emphasize the hotel’s location. The hotel’s exceptional location will suit all of your requirements, perched on a hill overlooking the cosmopolitan Mykonos Town, well-known for its nightlife, yet still within an easy drive from the airport and the harbor.

My favourite part was breakfast time, with all the locally sourced delicacies and the various options on the egg platters. What is more, some tiny glass bowls where the marmalade, the honey and the Nutella mouthwatering surprises were put, really made me to want to take them home – FYI, I didn’t. The boho environment was also another relaxing aspect of the hotel that I cherished. Every day after breakfast, we hit the pool and laied under the wonderfully crafted lace dantelle umbrellas. The service at all times was flawless and the manager was always present to make our and all other guests’ experience the best there could be!

One night we decided to stay in, we dined at dineAsty restaurant and relished the tastes of their modern Mediterranean cuisine while gazing out at Mykonos’ twilight lights. Recipes that embodied the distinctiveness of Greek food and released distinctive aromas were what made us fall in love with them!

All the rooms were marvelous. The Superior Maisonettes with Plunge Pools have two floors of exquisite architecture and range in size from 55m2 to 60m2. Each apartment has marble walk-in showers, double ceramic sinks, and a private pool area.

The Friends & Family Two Bedroom Suite with Private Pool is a stylishly designed 65m2 suite with two bedrooms, two luxurious marble walk-in showers, two double ceramic sinks, and a private terrace with a pool. Ideal for families, the sense of comfort and sophistication that this accommodation provides invites everyone to appreciate the tranquility of the island.

The Asty Two Bedroom Suite is a 65m2 stunning loft-style maisonette of exquisite architecture and a private pool. Our stay was enhanced by modern amenities, a minimalist ambiance, and a smart TV app that allowed us to book their services. We could also brew beverages anytime we liked with the in-suite coffee machine. The combination of comfort and design allowed us to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the island.

We definitely needed to rest and rejuvenate in the expert hands of therapy specialists, so we decided to have a Spa day. Therefore, we booked a massage at the Wellness Studio, which provided us with a sense of renewal and joy, both of which are essential characteristics our Greek culture.

Asty Mykonos invites you too, to create a mosaic of dreams, experiences, and memories within their unique resort that will last a lifetime! Are you coming … ?
