Held at Goya Studios, the pop-up gives guests a chance to interact with the land under the sea. POPSUGAR and Freeform created the pop-up because of the highly-anticipated mermaid drama, “Siren,” which recently aired on March 29th! Freeform, Disney’s young adult television and streaming network, has teamed up with POPSUGAR, the leading global lifestyle media brand for young women, to create an immersive Mermaid Museum in the heart of Hollywood, was only open for four days! The pop-up featured unique photo instillations, illusions and a live mermaid, a speakeasy-inspired fishing store, numerous photo structures, and a 360° underwater projection room, the museum will bring visitors inside the fictional world of Bristol Cove The pop up channeled Ariel ala The Little Mermaid and offered many instagrammable photo opportunities in addition to a braid bar, make-up bar.
Although the pop-up is over, we have a feeling the series will be a HUGE hit! Who doesn’t love mermaids? Check the trailer below:
