2018 Collegiate Inventors Competition Submission Deadline is June 8  

WHAT: The National Inventors Hall of Fame’s Collegiate Inventors Competition®, an annual competition that rewards innovations, discoveries, and cutting-edge research by college students and their faculty advisors, announces its 2018 Call for Submissions.

WHEN: Submissions deadline is June 8.

ETC.: Inventions are judged by a panel of National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductees and United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) experts — the most influential innovation experts in the country — for real-world feedback on optimizing the potential of each invention.

Competition Finalists will showcase their inventions and interact with USPTO examiners, event sponsors, media and the public at the November Collegiate Inventors Competition event at the USPTO Headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.

Finalists receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Washington, D.C., area. Monetary prizes will be awarded to the top three Finalist teams in the undergraduate and graduate divisions.

The Collegiate Inventors Competition is a program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame. The United States Patent and Trademark Office is a Presenting Sponsor.

The Collegiate Inventors Competition encourages and drives innovation and entrepreneurship at the collegiate level.
